Desha Secrest, MD

Family Medicine

Desha Secrest attended undergraduate studies at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, IN. She then went to Medical School at Indiana University, followed by residency in Atlanta Medical Center, in Atlanta Georgia. Dr Secrest has been practicing Family Medicine for 16 years. Spending the past 13 years at Harbin Clinic Cartersville Family Medicine.

She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Practice Providers. With a special focus on Family Medicine, Desha can assist with the full array of family medicine needs including chronic disease management, dermatology procedures, skin cancer removal, women’s health (including IUD and Nexplanon insertions), joint injections for arthritis, hormone replacement and aesthetic services such as botox.

When not in the office Desha enjoys outdoor sports, especially crossfit. She is also a fan of cooking and finding a good book.
