Jill is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Denver College of Nursing, and a Sports Medicine Bachelor Degree from Colorado State University. Her nursing experience includes 8 years as an Intensive Care RN, focusing in Cardiac Intensive Care but also working in Trauma Intensive Care, Neurological Intensive Care, Medical-Surgical Intensive Care, and Burn Intensive Care as part of the ICU float team. She started her nurse practitioner experience working as an NP in Cardiothoracic surgery for the Health One system focusing on both inpatient and outpatient care of open-heart surgical patients. As a nurse practitioner her passion to work with patients and provide the best patient-centered care she can. Allowing patients to achieve their individual health goals by having open communication and collaboration while focusing on preventative medicine as well as managing both acute and chronic conditions. She believes that education is a cornerstone of health management and gives patients confidence when managing any health condition. Jill has lived in Colorado for 20 years and enjoys all of the outdoor activities Colorado has to offer. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking and spending time with her yellow lab, family and friends.
